The content will automatically be delivered via Canvas/publisher platform and billed to your school account and is part of the Inclusive Access program. It gives all students access to the required material on day one and at a lower cost than if purchased directly from the publisher or traditional packages in the bookstore. Upon completion of this course students will be able to: Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) Upon completion of this course, students should be able to: 1. Describe essential biological structures and processes that occur at the molecular and cellular levels and explain how they enable life. 2. Describe basic structure and physiology of human organ systems and how they function to maintain life. 3. Describe how malfunctions in these organ systems cause disease. 4. Explain the role of genetics and environment in health, disease and evolution. 5. Find, evaluate the validity of, and analyze information about contemporary topics in human biology.
